This piece features an intricate idol of the Hindu deity Lord Shiva, distinguished by a lustrous, silver-like sheen. He is depicted with four arms; one right hand is raised in the *Abhaya Mudra* (the gesture of fearlessness), while the other holds a *Damaru* (a small drum). His matted locks are adorned with symbolic representations of the crescent moon and the sacred River Ganges. Wrapped around his neck as an ornament is Vasuki, the serpent king. A distinct third eye is visible upon his forehead. The base of the idol features the face of a tiger—the creature upon which he is traditionally seated. Its metallic luster—derived from its composition of marble dust—lends the idol a radiant and majestic appearance.
